Yesterday there was a garage sale at church and I bought this beautiful teapot. I love teapots. I think I might start a collection. As soon as Caroline saw it she said "You'll have to make a teacosy". I remember my grandmother used to have knitted teacosies and I think I made one in Brownies (too long ago to be sure). There was a nice teacosy in Homespun magazine - shaped like a handbag. I could make that or I might knit one. Any suggestions?
By the way, the garage sale was to raise money to send a group to Russia to the kids camps there. Every summer in Russia they have summer camps for children. A lot of the children are homeless and underprivileged and this is the only chance they have for some fun. Our group will provide craft activities, games and love in one camp. They will also share with them the hope they have in Jesus. Camps are held all over Russia and literally hundreds of people from different countries go there every year to minister to these children. If you want to find out more, the organisation that runs it is called 'Kids Outreach International' - email me and I will give you details.
Until next time
