A couple of weeks ago, I was going out and I wanted to take my knitting but I didn't want to take a big tote with all of my wool and bits and pieces, I just wanted to take a current project - knitting in progress and a ball of wool. I remembered a nifty little knitting bag my Mum used to have that sort of folded up and tied up. I decided to make one with my own little touch.
As you can see, one of them uses my favourite fabric - definitely running low on supply - and the other is in country colours. I have made a pattern up so that you can make a knitting bag. It's quick to make up and the one with strips of fabric is a good way to use up your bits and pieces.
I went swimming this morning and the water was so cold. I have been a bit sick lately so I'm not as fast as I was which meant that the water was colder for longer! I hope that people in Victoria have been okay in the floods. When I was growing up in Brisbane, the city was flooded one year and I still remember how terrifying it was not to mention how much clean up is involved.
Today is my 'baby's' birithday. He's 23 but it only seems like yesterday that he was a baby and I remember every detail with clarity. Anyway, we are proud of him and glad that he came into our lives. Happy Birthday Aaron.
Until next time
