I finished the KAL I was working on last week. Caroline is very clever and suggested it was Snoopy long before it even looked like Snoopy. Well done Caroline.
I don't have her imagination and I thought it was a duck right up until the end.
I found a great knitting magazine called Interweave Knits and through their website, I was able to subscribe (it's free) to their online newsletter called Knitting Daily. It's really great. It has ideas, tips and previews of new books etc. They did an excellent series on how to measure yourself for knitting a sweater. I found it particularly helpful. They also had different 'shape' people modelling the garments from the magazine to show how to adjust patterns to suit your shape. Another thing I really like are the free patterns you can download off their site. Yesterday I went through (there's about 80) all the patterns and downloaded the ones I particularly liked. There are jumpers, shawls, hats, bags - the full range of items. They are also suitable for all standards of knitters. They are also very stylish using very nice yarns.
Check it out and start 'Knitting Daily'.
Until next time
