Yesterday a couple of new patterns arrived. The first one is the Gail Pan design which I saw at AQM - Good Tidings. It's a stitchery quilt, finished size 41"x41". It would look nice hanging on the wall at Christmas.
I like the border around the centre stitchery block. It just adds a bit of interest doesn't it?
From Me to You is a set of gift stitcheries. There's a scented satchet, gift pouch and gift bag.
Marg always seems to add just a little bit extra to her stitcheries. I really like this pattern because it's the sort thing I could make for my sister. She's not a very 'crafty' person but she does like receiving things that I make her. However, I wouldn't make her a big stitchery quilt, for example, because she wouldn't know what to do with it. I've made her a couple of quilts and I know that they will be well used in her family room as lap quilts. But I think the items in this pattern wold be ideal for her, she could put them on her dressing table.
Until next time
