Easter is fast approaching and Natalie Ross has just released a delightful new pattern called Easter Egg Express.
Isn't it cute? The pattern includes the little bag with a stitchery panel on the front (perfect for filling with easter eggs) and a bunny. Wouldn't it be a nice gift for Easter?
Fairyland is not a new book by Natalie, but it's a 'goodie'. It has 9 lovely fairy-themed projects including this beautiful quilt:
The quilt is 54" x 79" and features wimple piecing, applique and stitchery. I've also added some photos of the other projects in the book in 'Books I recommend' album on the left.
The other day I purchased the April issue of American Patchwork and Quilting magazine. In one of the fabric company ads, I saw an eye catching quilt called 'Samba'. So I went to their website and discovered a whole library of free patterns to download including 'Samba'. They were designed with different fabric collections in mind, but of course can be made with any of your own fabrics and are a great resource. Good inspiration! Check it out at Clothworks.
Until next time
