I finished my Joy to the World cushions. They were really quick and easy to make and used my Christmas leftovers. Finished size of each is 7" x 11". The first one is a Christmas Tree applique featuring blanket stitch applique and embellished with buttons.
The fabric is the lovely Peace on Earth range. The brown in the border is one of my favourite pieces in that range and I now only have a small piece left.
The second one is a Joy cushion featuring some stitchery and applique.
The red spot is another of my favourite Moda fabrics and now I don't have any left. The same for the green fabric - it was left over from last Christmas and now it's gone. I added some red buttons to the corner just for fun.
The third one is Joy to the World cushion and features some stitchery and blanket stitch applique.
The fabric sqaures are scraps of different fabric and the border is left over backing from Peace on Earth quilt. I embellished with buttons again.
I'm pleased with the way they turned out and they look nice on my shelves in the family room (gave them a trial run).
Here they are altogether -
The pattern is available on my website.
