New patterns from Natalie Lymer of Cinderberry Stitches arrived in store yesterday.
Just Darling inlcudes a handy bucket bag with a stitchery on the front and a matching needle carry case.
The bucket bag is quite big - 12" x 15" - which is a good size to have beside you while working on a project to put in all those bits and pieces that always seem necessary.
I like the check bias tape that's around the top. I bought some at a craft fair last year but still haven't used it. This has inspired me to take another look at it.
The other new one from Natalie is collection of 3 different sized little zippered bags which she calls Gadget Bags.
There's a nice little stitchery to embellish them as well.
These would be handy to put in your project bag to keep everything safe. Good idea.
The patterns are available on my website.
Shopping for Clothes...
I had my car serviced this morning so while that was happening I went into the city to do some clothes shopping. This is our second winter in paradise and last year I was caught out. Winter here isn't like the winter I'm used to and I had trouble knowing what to wear. Mornings can be cold, so I would dress approriately and then by lunch time I would be sweltering. This year I'm a bit more clued up so went shopping with an idea of what I needed. Came home with a few bag fulls and am quite confident that I've nailed winter in paradise. No coats and boots needed here!
Until next time
