Santa Claus brought me an IPAD for Christmas - he must have read that letter I sent to the North Pole after all! I'm really enjoying it especially for reading magazines.  I have a cover for it (thoughtfully provided by Santa) but thought it needed it's very own little carry bag.

One of the advantages of reducing my stash is that I can actually see what's there.  The other day I found 2 pieces of what must be one of my favourite fabric ranges ever - Boutique by Chez Mois.  I have already made a couple of projects from the range and these 2 fat quarters are just about all I have left except for some small bits and pieces.

I think they will be perfect for my IPAD Cover and I've added some lovely yellow ric-rac braid (from my stash) to brighten it up. 

I plan to have a simple stitchery design on it as well.  Hopefully it won't take me long at all.

Knitting...

In the meantime I bet you've been wondering what's been happening to my knitting?  Well to be honest it's stalled a bit.  I am still working on that cardigan that I started a couple of months ago.  It seems to have turned into a long-term project.  I took it out of it's bag yesterday to get a bit of a handle on what is left to do.

It turns out that it's not too bad after all.  I think the problem is that there are two knitted-in pockets on the fronts and trying to figure it all out with a cat sitting on my lap was a bit too much of a challenge at night when I'm tired.  I gave up one night and started on a sleeve.  I've reached the point where it's do or die - except for the other sleeve - the pockets have to be finished before i can finish the body.

I might challenge myself to have a go this week?  Will see.

Glad to "see" other quilters like their iPads too! Your blog just reminded me that my site was just sent an app used for keeping track of where you are in your knitting and crochet patterns! Have you used anything like that yet?
Do you use your iPad for your crafts? I find I use mine for cooking but not too many other crafts yet. I look forward to seeing pics of your iPad cover when it's complete! Thanks for sharing!
