Just look at the key ring on the front cover? That's a good example of how nice the projects are inside.
I have my eye on a couple of the crochet projects. One of the projects is a crocheted border on a guest towel. Now that would make a nice gift. The other one are some cute little crocheted flowers. (There's one on that key ring on the front cover.) The flowers are used throughout the book and they look easy enough to make. I think they would be handy to add embellishment to lots of projects.
For the cross stitch projects, I particularly like a book cover with a sampler design on the front. She's included a few different elements like a crocheted flower and some buttons. It's very effective.
I bought this book sight-unseen (always risky) but I'm glad I did and it will make another nice addition to my every expanding library.
Until next time
