I've finished stitching another one of my little Alphabet Girls.
This one is L for Lyn Lavender and I stitched her on Antique White Aida.
This isn't the first time I've stitched the 'L' girl - I have a tissue box holder on my dressing table that I embellished with 'her'. I stitched her years ago and she was one of the reason that I decided to stitch all the girls and make them into a quilt. They are all so cute.
The next girl I'm planning to stitch is P for Patches. I've chosen a pink Aida for the background. She's quite colourful and I think the light pink background will bring out the colours.
I'm hoping to stitch a few of these girls this year although I'm realistic enough to know that I won't get them all done in a year. But hopefully will make good progress.
Tennis...
Have to confess that I'm a bit tired today. Last night I watched the Australian Open (tennis) and it was an epic match between Djokovic and Wawrinka. I haven't watched much of the tennis yet and last night I only watched it because Robin was. Glad I did because it was just amazing. Tonight is another big night with both Federer and Serena Williams playing (not against each other!) - will have to have a 'nap' this afternoon.
Until next time
Lyn

Lavender girl is very pretty Lyn. I like her dotted dress.
