Last Wednesday at my Knits and Novels book club, one of the other ladies was selling some raffle tickets for a charity she's involved with.
I was overjoyed because the prize was this lovely new tea pot with it's own teacosy which was lovingly knitted by the ticket seller herself. The little mouse is actually knitted into the teacosy and it's so cute. See the tail?
It was a timely win for me, because that very day I had noticed that my favourite tea pot had a crack in its lid. Now I have a replacement. The other thing I've discovered is the tea tastes better with a mouse teacosy over the pot.
Enjoying your Easter break? I am. I've done some gardening, help paint the deck; visited family; and eaten Easter eggs.
Last night while working on my cross stitch, I happened to come across the Godfather II movie on ABC2. I love those movies. I sat up until very late enjoying watching Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino in action. They don't make movies like they used to.
Until next time
