The last couple of days I've been sorting out what to take on our big trip. I see that there's a heat wave in UK at the moment and I'm hoping it will last for us. As far as stitching goes, I thought it was a good opportunity to get started on my Stitchery BOM for my 2014 Newsletter. (I can't believe I'm actually that organised!)
The theme I've chosen for next year is The Word of God. I've prepared seven stitcheries with each one based on different Bible verse about the Word of God. I've traced them all and selected the threads. I've also packed my hoop and thread cutter to take on the plane. My Flyaway project bag and needlecase will be perfect to carry all of the bits and pieces.
I'm not sure that I will actually get much stitching done but I do know that if I don't take anything I will be sorry!
I've also packed a few balls of baby yarn to cover any knitting I feel like doing. So I think I'm prettty well prepared.
Now I just have to work out what clothes to take.
Until next time
Lyn
We've got this weather for the coming week at least, it seems like we may have had a summer at last! Might all change after next week though, the schools will be breaking up.

Have a wonderful time. Lucky you getting some warmth. It was cool/cold while we were there but not too rainy thank goodness. We are now back to chilly Canberra!!!
